Young heroes

Annadon Keys, Johnson Park Youth Center Supervisor, said the community always hears about the youth in the community that have done something bad, but she prefers to hear about the ones who are awesome. There was an accident at the Johnson Park Youth Center on Saturday, July 14, 2012. A young man had fallen in the men’s locker room and was unconscious. Mayson Dompe, Blake Gray and Brant Gray found him in the locker room and ran and notified a lifeguard immediately. Keys said that because of these three HEROES the young man was able to receive medical attention as soon as possible. “We go to the movies to watch heroes and then find out we have them living in our community,” she said.
