J. Hugh Judkins, 74, of Stinnett, passed away, Saturday, October 29, 2011.
J. Hugh Judkins was born Monday, July 19, 1937 in Llano, TX to John Franklin and Zula Mae (Eldridge) Judkins. He was a self-employed welder who loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mr. Judkins served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, John Judkins and wife Cynthia of Burleson, TX and J. Judkins Jr. and wife Latisha of Stinnett, TX; one daughter, Jill Sandoval and husband Felix of Fritch, TX; four brothers, Clyde Judkins of Amarillo, TX, Denny Judkins of Stinnett, TX, Alex Judkins of Santa Fe, NM and Mike Judkins of Tyler, TX; two sisters, Donna Williams of Archer City, TX and Ann Farren of Austin, TX; eight grandchildren, Jared Judkins of Stinnett, TX, Jedadiah Judkins of Stinnett, TX, Ashley Sandoval of Fritch, TX, Felix Sandoval Jr. of Fritch, TX, Somer Rosenquist of Hurst, TX, Autumn Judkins of Burleson, TX, Hailey Thomas of Stinnett, TX and Jesse Perdasofpy of Stinnett, TX; and one great grandson, Taytum Sandoval of Fritch, TX.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Stinnett Cemetery in Stinnett, TX with Pastor Doc Shuman officiating.
Mr. Judkins will lie in state at Brown’s Chapel in Stinnett, TX on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.
The family will be staying at the home of Jill and Felix Sandoval, 9585 FM 687, Fritch, TX 79036.
