Benefit to be held for Norma Jean Franklin

August 24, 2012

A benefit is being put together to aid a local citizen with medical expenses.
The event is being held for Norma Jean (Speed) Franklin, and is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26.
The cost is by donations and donations will go towards helping Franklin, who has been in the hospital due to a stroke.
It will be held at the Stinnett Community Building on Main Street.
The menu is smoked sausage, cole slaw, beans, hot bread, and dessert.
An auction will immediately follow the meal, and local residents are encouraged to come out in support of Franklin this Sunday.
For more information on the benefit, call Donna Irvin at 878-3145.
