Amarillo Symphony opens 2017-18 season with performances of Gershwin's Rhapsodies Sept. 22 & 23

The Amarillo Symphony, the leader of orchestral music in the Texas Panhandle since 1924, kicks off the 2017-18 season with performances of Gershwin's Rhapsodies on Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23. Jazz pianist Aaron Diehl, a 31-year-old classically trained performer and composer, is the guest soloist featured for the season premiere.

Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts located at 500 S. Buchanan St. in Amarillo. Single tickets are available starting at $20.
